Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum of 4 years of professional experience as a Linux Systems Administrator or in a similar role.
• Strong experience in the administration, configuration and maintenance of Linux systems.
• Hands-on experience with Red Hat, Ubuntu, Debian or similar Linux distributions.
• Strong knowledge of Linux command line and Bash scripting.
• Experience with system monitoring, troubleshooting and performance optimisation.
• Good knowledge of networking fundamentals, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and SSH.
• Experience administering web servers, such as Apache or Nginx.
• Good understanding of storage, filesystems, permissions, users and access management.
• Experience implementing Linux security and hardening practices, including SELinux, AppArmor and firewall configuration.
• Experience with backup, recovery and system maintenance procedures, and knowledge of logging/monitoring tools.
• Experience with automation and configuration management, preferably using Ansible.
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure and production incidents.
• Good understanding of high availability and system reliability concepts.
• Ability to document technical procedures and follow infrastructure best practices.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work effectively in collaborative and Agile environments.
• Fluency in Portuguese and English.

Your Profile
