Job summary

We are seeking a Linux Red Hat Expert to join KCS IT's Lisbon team. You will provide L3 support, handle incident resolution, and administer RHEL across virtual, physical, and IBM Power platforms. You will drive security hardening, kernel patching, and Ansible automation, collaborating with infrastructure teams and stakeholders.

Fluency in Portuguese and English is required, with 5+ years of RH experience. We offer free training programs and international Benelux projects, plus a hybrid/remote

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in Linux Red Hat environments and related administration.
• Expertise in incident resolution, security hardening, and performance tuning.
• Experience with Ansible automation, OS upgrades, and patch lifecycle management.

• Linux Red Hat Expert: L3 support and incident resolution for RHEL environments, RHEL administration across virtual, physical and IBM Power platforms, Red Hat Satellite and IdM administration, performance tuning, log analysis, system optimization, SUDO management, root cause analysis, security hardening, identity integration, Ansible automation, OS upgrades, kernel patching, package lifecycle management, technical documentation, collaboration with infrastructure teams and stakeholders, 5+ years' experience.
• RHEL, VMware, IBM Power (LE), Red Hat Satellite Server, Red Hat Identity Management (IdM), Active Directory, SUDO, Ansible, Shell, Python, Kerberos, LDAP, SSSD, Patch Management, OS Upgrades, Kernel Patching, Package Lifecycle Management, Security Hardening, Access Control, RCA.
• NTH: RHCE, Red Hat Certified Specialist in Satellite, Red Hat Certified Specialist in IdM, OpenShift, Kubernetes, Docker, ITIL.
• Fluent in Portuguese and English (C1).
