A Gravitas Recruitment Group (Global) Ltd procura um Engineering Manager para liderar a equipa de Feature Engineering. Este papel é hands-on, com tempo dividido entre programação, direção técnica e crescimento da equipa, entregando funcionalidades de produto com .NET Core/C# e Angular.

Reportará ao Head of Engineering, começando como contributor e expandindo para uma equipa de 3–5 engenheiros em backend, frontend e mobile, enquanto o produto cresce.

Qualificações

• 7–10 anos de experiência em engenharia de software.
• Hands-on com .NET Core e Angular.
• Experiência em liderar engenheiros, incluindo contratação.

Responsabilidades

• Liderar a equipa de Feature Engineering e conduzir entrega de funcionalidades.
• Separar tempo entre codificação, direção técnica e crescimento da equipa.
• Definir padrões de engenharia e colaborar com Produto e Design.
• Crescer a equipa para 3–5 engenheiros conforme o produto escala.

Engineering Manager – Feature Engineering

We're looking for an Engineering Manager to lead our Feature Engineering team. This is a hands‑on role - you'll split your time between coding, technical direction and growing your team. You'll own end-to-end delivery of product features across backend (.NET Core / C#) and frontend (Angular), set and enforce engineering standards, and partner closely with Product and Design to ship reliable, well-tested software at pace.

You'll report directly to the Head of Engineering and work alongside the Platform and DevOps EM as a peer. You will start as an individual contributor and over time, your team will grow to 3–5 engineers (backend, frontend, mobile) and you'll help shape and grow it as the product scales.

What we're looking for:

• 7–10 years of software engineering experience with a strong track record in product feature delivery.
• Hands‑on with .NET Core and Angular.
• Experience leading or managing engineers, including hiring and performance conversations.
• Comfortable in a startup environment where you're building process, not following it.
• A security‑aware engineering mindset and a bias for quality.

Nice to have:

• Mobile development experience (iOS or Android).
• Exposure to AWS and CI/CD tooling.
• Background in workflow, task management or project execution SaaS products.

Location:

Portugal - commutable to Lisbon. Infrequent travel to Dublin, covered by the company.

Salary:

€70,000 – €85,000. Equity on completion of probation.
