OutSystems is building a governed Semantic Layer to power AI agents and BI with consistent metrics and definitions. You will translate the Canonical Data Model into semantic models, implement development standards, and govern data and metrics across core business domains.

Formación

• Bachelor's or Master's in Data Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 6+ years of experience in Analytics Engineering, Data Engineering, or BI development.
• Proven hands-on experience with semantic modeling for BI and analytics governance.
• Strong SQL and dbt Core experience; CI‑friendly project structure.
• Working knowledge of Git and Git-based development workflows.
• Experience with orchestration tools (Airflow) for deployment pipelines.
• Hands-on experience with a cloud data platform (Snowflake preferred).
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Responsabilidades

• Design and build Semantic Models on top of the Canonical Data Model across domains.
• Apply dimensional modeling principles to shape semantic structures.
• Translate business definitions into governed metrics and metadata for AI/BI consumption.
• Lead metric-definition reviews and document calculation logic and ownership.
• Develop and maintain dbt models for transformation and staging layers.
• Own deployment lifecycle for semantic assets (Git, CI checks, Airflow deployments).
• Define validation scenarios with Analysts and stakeholders and ensure consistency with certified metrics.
• Define and implement data quality controls for Semantic Models.
• Apply security and governance controls including RBAC and masking.
• Produce documentation for Semantic Models including grain and relationships.
• Monitor production Semantic Models for data quality and upstream changes.
• Treat Semantic Models as products and drive iterative improvements.
• Own lifecycle management of Semantic Models (release, versioning, deprecation).
• Monitor semantic drift and refine best practices for agent-ready modeling.
