Lever, Inc. is seeking a Lead QA Engineer (AI Native) based in Portugal to own the quality strategy for a complex AI-driven product.

You will design and implement end-to-end testing pipelines, including pre-merge checks, nightly runs, and production gates, with a focus on reliability of critical financial workflows. You will combine hands-on test automation with AI agent workflows, collaborating with a small senior team.

Qualificações

• Proven experience owning testing processes for large, complex products with high reliability.
• Strong software engineering foundation including CI/CD and deployment processes.
• Hands-on test automation and integration of testing into CI/CD workflows.
• Daily use of AI coding agents as part of software development.
• Interest in AI-first development and testing AI-generated code.
• Ability to take ownership and drive solutions with minimal guidance.
• Hands-on contributor in a small, senior team; strong communication and collaboration.
• Fluent Russian.

Responsabilidades

• Design end-to-end testing pipeline including pre-merge checks and production gates.
• Define quality strategy for AI-generated code and ensure sustainable coverage.
• Build and maintain automated UI testing across browsers and devices, incl. AI-driven testing.
• Evaluate, select, and integrate external testing tools and services.
• Own product reliability from QA perspective, focusing on financial workflows.
• Collaborate with Eng and DevOps to embed quality throughout the lifecycle.
• Use AI coding agents daily to create and evolve testing solutions.
• Identify quality risks and share best practices across the team.
