Lever, Inc. is seeking a Full Stack Software Engineer - AI-First for a fully remote role based in Portugal.

You will join an autonomous team blending backend Java/Spring Boot with frontend Angular/TypeScript, using AI-assisted tools to accelerate development while ensuring secure, scalable cloud deployments. You will own end-to-end delivery, review AI-generated code for quality and security, and collaborate with Product to define priorities and solutions.

Qualificações

• 3+ years of professional software engineering experience with full-stack exposure.
• Strong backend experience with Java and Spring Boot.
• Frontend experience with Angular and TypeScript, across the full stack.
• Interest in adopting AI-assisted engineering and agentic workflows.
• Ability to review AI-generated code for quality, security, and correctness.
• Knowledge of secure software development practices.

Responsabilidades

• Own product development within an autonomous engineering team, collaborating with Product Managers to set priorities.
• Develop and maintain full-stack applications using Java/Spring Boot (backend) and Angular/TypeScript (frontend).
• Leverage AI-powered tools to accelerate coding, testing, and delivery while upholding standards.
• Critically review AI-generated code for correctness, scalability, and security.
• Take end-to-end ownership from design through deployment and cloud infrastructure.
• Apply modern security practices and identify vulnerabilities across applications.
• Collaborate with teammates to balance frontend/backend priorities based on impact.
• Contribute to a results-driven, low-meeting engineering culture with autonomy.
