Synopsys Lisbon is seeking an experienced validation engineering leader to head a team focused on high‑speed analog IP. You will guide test planning, execution, and data analysis, balancing hands‑on work with effective team management across concurrent projects in a state‑of‑the‑art lab.

You will collaborate with analog and digital design groups, drive robust validation reports, and mentor engineers to grow their skills.

Qualificações

• 5+ years of experience in silicon validation, test, or characterization of analog or mixed-signal ICs
• Experience managing technical teams and project planning
• Degree in Electronic or Electrical Engineering or related field
• Strong foundation in analog IC design principles and signal integrity
• Familiarity with SerDes validation and high-speed protocols (USB, PCIe, Ethernet)
• Proficiency in MATLAB or Python for data analysis

Responsabilidades

• Lead silicon validation operations for high-speed analog ICs at Lisbon, managing resources, equipment, and test execution across concurrent projects
• Direct testing and characterization of SerDes implementations using precision measurement equipment
• Oversee silicon debug, identify root causes, and provide technical guidance to design teams
• Develop comprehensive validation reports documenting performance and recommendations for design improvements
• Supervise the design, fabrication, and bring-up of custom test boards and hardware fixtures
• Mentor and develop the validation engineering team through training and performance management
• Collaborate with analog/digital design, applications engineering, and product management to resolve challenges and support schedules
• Maintain and enhance lab infrastructure for optimal equipment performance
