Synopsys, Inc. in Lisbon seeks a senior validation engineer to lead silicon validation of high-speed analog IP.

You will manage lab resources, oversee test execution across concurrent projects, and guide a talented team of engineers. Collaborating with analog and digital design, applications engineering and product management, you will develop test hardware, perform rigorous measurements, and produce comprehensive validation reports that shape future designs.

Qualificações

• 5+ years of experience in silicon validation, test, or characterization of analog or mixed-signal ICs.
• Demonstrated experience managing technical teams with project planning and performance development.
• Proven track record of building team capability while maintaining technical quality.
• Degree in Electronic Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related discipline.
• Strong foundation in analog IC design principles and measurement anomalies.

Responsabilidades

• Lead silicon validation operations for high-speed analog IP at Lisbon site, managing lab resources and test execution across concurrent projects.
• Direct testing and characterization of SerDes implementations using oscilloscopes, BER testers, network analyzers and other precision equipment.
• Oversee silicon debug activities and advise design teams on root causes and fixes.
• Develop comprehensive validation reports documenting silicon performance and design recommendations.
• Supervise development of test boards and hardware fixtures for accurate characterization.
• Mentor and develop the validation engineering team through training and performance management.
• Collaborate with analog/digital design, applications engineering and product management to resolve technical challenges and support schedules.
