Asenium is seeking a Lead Java Developer to join our team in Portugal. You will collaborate on projects in Health, Services, Finance, Insurance, and Telecom sectors. The ideal candidate has over 8 years of experience, strong skills in Java backend development, and familiarity with AWS.

The ideal candidate

• Experience with Java Backend development (Java >= 8).
• 8+ years experience.
• Experiencewith Spring/Spring Boot .
• Experience in JPA and Hibernate.
• Knowledge inApplication architecture (MicroServices based architecture, hexagonal…).
• Experience with CI/CD.
• English proficiency should be at least B2 level.
• Role model mindset, experience in coaching junior team members, and used to do technical support of team members.
• Experience with Java Frontend (Angular or any other UI framework).
• AWS or other cloud platform.
• Problem-solving skills and logical reasoning.
• Passion for learning and growing as a developer.
• Experience working in an Agile environment and Scrummethodologies.
• Great team spirit, independency, pleasant attitude, great openness and curiosity to learn.
