IntellectEU is seeking an experienced Lead Software Engineer to lead the Back-End team of CatalyX. You will drive the technical delivery, mentor a distributed group of engineers, and contribute hands-on across the SDLC. Required: Java excellence, strong distributed systems knowledge, Kubernetes, and DevOps practices.

Nice to have Canton/Daml, cloud familiarity. We offer flexible remote, in-office, or hybrid work options and a culture focused on impact and continuous learning.

Qualificações

• 7+ years of software engineering in globally distributed environments.
• Proven experience leading development teams while remaining hands-on.
• Excellent programming skills in Java.
• Distributed systems and enterprise integration patterns.
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes.
• Strong SQL skills (PostgreSQL).
• Experience with OAuth/OIDC (Keycloak, Auth0).
• DevOps skills: CI/CD, GitOps, IaC, observability.
• Networking fundamentals (TLS, DNS, load balancing, service-to-service comms).
• Familiar with AI coding tools (e.g., Claude Code, Copilot).
• Clear communicator aligning engineers, architects, and product stakeholders.

Responsabilidades

• Drive technical delivery of CatalyX Blockchain Manager and contribute to codebase through implementation and reviews.
• Lead and mentor a distributed team of engineers, setting code quality and delivery pace.
• Translate product and client requirements into technical tasks, estimates, and sprint plans.
• Investigate and resolve critical issues; capture lessons learned.
• Uphold engineering best practices throughout the SDLC.
• Promote responsible use of AI-assisted development tools within the team.
