Job summary

Fusion Consulting in Tokyo, Japan, is seeking an experienced AI/ML Developer to design, implement, and scale intelligent analytics solutions for global Life Sciences clients. You will build scalable ML models, data-driven apps, and integrate ML capabilities with enterprise platforms, collaborating with data engineers and stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on experience in AI/ML development, including model design, training, deployment, and optimization.
• Proficiency in Python and ML frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Scikit-learn.
• Solid understanding of ML algorithms, statistical modeling, predictive analytics, and forecasting techniques.
• Experience developing data pipelines, feature engineering, and working with structured/unstructured data.
• Knowledge of REST APIs and integrating ML solutions with enterprise applications.
• Experience with cloud-based AI/ML platforms (Azure ML, AWS SageMaker, Vertex AI).
• Understanding of MLOps concepts, including model versioning, monitoring, CI/CD pipelines, and deployment.
• Familiarity with SAP environments or business analytics is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy AI/ML models for predictive analytics and decision support.
• Develop and optimize ML algorithms including regression, classification, clustering, and time-series forecasting.
• Build data preprocessing, feature engineering, training, and evaluation pipelines.
• Integrate AI/ML solutions with AFP-related and enterprise applications.
• Develop APIs and components to connect models with existing systems.
• Collaborate with data engineers to ensure data quality and availability.
• Monitor model performance, scalability, and reliability in production.
• Support testing, deployment, and continuous improvement of AI/ML solutions.
• Translate business needs into technical ML solutions with proper documentation.
