Job summary

One80 Kitchen Lounge Restaurant in Porto is seeking a Kitchen Porter to keep the kitchen spotless, safe and ready for action. You’ll join a friendly team and support the kitchen with cleaning, stock organization and safe handling of utensils.

No experience is required as we’ll train you; prior cleaning or support roles help. This role offers growth opportunities, staff discounts across Europe, and a vibrant hospitality environment.

Responsibilities

• Wash dishes, utensils and kitchen equipment quickly and thoroughly.

• Assist kitchen team with basic tasks and stock organization.
• Ensure proper storage of tools and equipment for efficient workflow.
• Follow hygiene and food safety rules (HACCP).
• Handle cleaning materials safely and report hazards immediately.

What You’ll Do

• Wash dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment quickly and thoroughly
• Keep floors, surfaces, and bins clean following set routines
• Make sure all kitchen areas, including storage and prep spaces, stay spotless
• Help the kitchen team with basic tasks when needed – from unloading deliveries to organizing stock
• Keep kitchen tools and equipment where they belong to support an efficient workflow
• Follow hygiene and food safety rules like HACCP
• Handle cleaning materials and gear safely and responsibly
• Spot and report any issues or hazards right away

What You’ll Have

• Some experience in a cleaning or support role is a plus
• Comfortable working in a busy, active environment on your feet

• Strong attention to detail and a sense of pride in cleanliness
