Next Engineering is seeking a skilled analyst to strengthen the second-level control framework (LOD1) and detect unauthorised trading activities. Based in Lisbon, the role embraces a hybrid work setup with a base salary of 920–1100 EUR per month, plus food allowance and flexible benefits.

You will analyse financial transactions, identify control deficiencies, and coordinate KPI reporting to support informed decision-making across multiple stakeholders.

Your Responsibilities:

• Contribute to a strong second-level control framework (LOD1), ensuring compliance across Sales and Trading activities.
• Identify and analyse financial transactions to detect unauthorised trading activities, mandate breaches and control deficiencies.
• Minimise operational and fraud risks by reviewing processes and controls and proposing corrective actions.
• Maintain the Optimus referential, ensuring accurate Book/Portfolio and Trader/Sales mandates.
• Coordinate with key stakeholders and control functions, including Conduct, Tax, Legal and Compliance.
• Prepare and lead meetings with stakeholders at different organisational levels.
• Manage ad-hoc requests from Management and Business teams within a global remit.
• Coordinate monthly statistical reporting and KPI management, ensuring the accuracy and reliability of indicators.
• Produce analytical reports and management summaries to support decision‑making and control effectiveness.

Your Profile:

• Knowledge of Financial Markets, particularly Trading.
• Proficient knowledge of Middle Office Operations and related processes.
• Strong analytical and critical‑thinking skills, with the ability to identify risks and propose solutions.
• Ability to develop, improve and adapt processes.
• A results‑driven mindset, with strong organisational skills.
