Hiire is supporting EID, a leading Portuguese defence-tech company, by recruiting a Junior System Engineer to join its team in Portugal. The role focuses on translating customer needs into formal system requirements and supporting complex, multi-domain architectures.

The successful candidate will analyze existing systems, troubleshoot across software and hardware, and contribute to system designs and network implementations while communicating in Portuguese and English.

Qualificações

• Degree in Electronic Engineering, Communications Engineering, Telecommunications, or related field.
• Solid understanding of radio and digital communication systems.
• Experience producing clear technical documentation at high and low levels.
• Strong communication skills in Portuguese and English (written and spoken).

Responsabilidades

What You’ll Do

What You’ll Bring

• A university degree (or equivalent experience) in Electronic Engineering, Communications Engineering, Telecommunications, or a related field;

• Solid understanding of radio and digital communication systems;

• Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to break down complex issues and identify root causes;

• Experience producing clear technical documentation at both high and low levels;

• Strong communication skills in both Portuguese and English (written and spoken).
