ASPORTO in Porto, Portugal is seeking Junior Specialists to join our Middle Office Services team. You will participate in the daily processing of commission and cash-related operations, and support invoice processing, reconciliations, and client service.

This role offers exposure to international stakeholders and growth within an investment operations environment on a nearshoring platform. Fluency in English and a finance-related degree are requested.

This role is with ASPORTO and offers the opportunity to contribute directly to the development and long-term success of the Porto platform.

We are seeking Junior Specialists to join our Middle Office Services team in our Porto office.

Your Responsibilities:

• Commission Service: Participate in the daily processing of commission and cash-related operations, including reconciliations, commission calculations, position reporting, dunning management, and query handling, while gaining hands-on experience and developing expertise in investment operations and financial services processes.


• Invoice Processing: Participate in the daily processing of various invoice types, gaining hands-on experience and working towards becoming an expert within the dedicated invoice processing team


• Reconciliation & Compliance: Assist in investigating and resolving reconciliation breaks, ensuring all activities adhere to internal controls and regulatory requirements


• Client Service & Process Improvement: Deliver excellent client service within our standard operating model, while actively supporting continuous improvement initiatives to boost efficiency and create capacity


• Communication: Manage internal and external queries professionally, ensuring clear and timely communication with stakeholders

Your Skills:

• Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field


• Hands-on approach with a strong sense of teamwork


• Strong communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to handle complex matters independently


• Ability to work independently, take ownership of assigned topics, and deliver solutions under time pressure


• Proficiency in MS Office Suite, especially Excel


• Fluency in English
