Dev.Pro, a US-based outsourced software development company operating as a remote-first organization, is seeking a Junior Security Engineer to join our global security team. You will help protect systems, applications, and cloud infrastructure while building practical information security skills.

We value hands-on work with modern security tools, AI-powered automation, and collaboration within a mature team.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of experience in security engineering.
• Experience handling alerts from security solutions (WAF, EDR, DLP, IPS/IDS, SIEM).
• Hands-on experience with vulnerability analysis tools.
• Familiarity with Python for scripting and automation.
• Familiarity with at least one major cloud platform, including its security tools, IAM, and best practices.
• Strong analytical skills and a problem-solving mindset focused on identifying root causes of events.
• Clear communication skills, with the ability to explain security concepts to technical teams.
• Intermediate+ English level.

Responsabilités

• Triage and respond to security alerts and incidents in line with established company standards and best practices.
• Assess the security of IT infrastructure and cloud environments to identify potential risks.
• Support application security through assessments, vulnerability scans, and gap analyses.
• Perform vulnerability scans across specified network ranges and review the results to identify potential issues.
• Automate routine security tasks and use AI-powered tools to boost efficiency.
• Assist with security audits to assess compliance with internal policies and best practices.
• Help automate access reviews to improve efficiency and accuracy.
