OutSystems seeks a Senior Security Engineer for the Application Security team to independently deliver security outcomes across our AI-powered low-code platform. You will own moderately complex security projects, partner with engineering, product, and legal teams, and mentor junior engineers while strengthening security relationships.

Qualificações

• Proven experience executing application security work in modern, cloud-native environments.
• Strong grounding in secure design and threat modeling; vulnerability intake, triage, remediation.
• Ability to independently manage and deliver moderately complex security tasks from start to finish.
• Comfortable working across application, cloud, and platform security within a defined scope.
• Ability to write and reason about code; build or extend security tooling and automation; review AI-generated or low-code workflows.
• Practical experience with AWS (required), Kubernetes, and microservices architectures.
• Clear understanding of when to apply penetration testing, red teaming, and purple teaming.
• Strong communicator and mentor to junior colleagues; proactive in unknown problem scenarios.

Responsabilidades

• Drive security work across all phases of the SDLC from design to release.
• Own delivery of moderately complex security projects or features.
• Secure AI-powered and agentic capabilities early in design, not as an afterthought.
• Conduct focused security assessments of applications, APIs, internal services, and platform components.
• Develop secure-by-default patterns, guardrails, and paved roads that scale security.
• Improve security tooling, tune signal quality, and reduce noise.
• Mentor junior engineers and new hires within Product Security.
• Strengthen stakeholder relationships and deliver reliable security outcomes.
