A Noesis procura um(a) Junior Security & Infrastructure Engineer para se juntar à equipa técnica (security engineering) em um dos escritórios de Lisboa, Porto, Coimbra, Guarda ou Covilhã. Requer 1–3 anos de experiência e conhecimentos em Windows Server, Linux, redes e cibersegurança.

O/la candidato(a) trabalhará com operações de infraestrutura, segurança, troubleshooting, e apoio a projetos com foco em segurança cibernética, em ambiente empresarial.

Qualificações

• Graduação em Engenharia Informática (ou equivalente)
• Experiência de 1–3 anos na área
• Conhecimento prático de ambientes Windows Server
• Conhecimento prático de sistemas Linux
• Compreensão de fundamentos de redes
• Noções de cibersegurança
• Capacidade de troubleshooting estruturado
• Scripting básico (PowerShell, Bash ou Python) é desejável

Responsabilidades

• Dar suporte à operação, administração e resolução de problemas de sistemas Windows e Linux e infraestrutura corporativa
• Realizar troubleshooting estruturado e análise de causa raiz
• Apoiar endurecimento de segurança, patching e remediação de vulnerabilidades
• Executar mudanças técnicas mediante procedimentos estabelecidos e gestão de mudanças
• Participar em projetos técnicos envolvendo infraestrutura e tecnologias de cibersegurança
• Apoiar reuniões técnicas, recolha de requisitos e coordenação com clientes e partes interessadas
• Registar atividades técnicas, dependências e entregáveis com atualizações de status

Descrição da Função

Noesis is looking for a Junior Security & Infrastructure Engineer to join our technical team (security engineering) to work in one of our offices (Lisbon, Porto, Coimbra, Guarda, Covilhã) with the following profile:

Main Tasks and Responsibilities: Security & Infrastructure Operations

• Support the operation, administration and troubleshooting of Windows and Linux systems and enterprise infrastructure
• Perform structured troubleshooting, root-cause analysis and support incident investigation and resolution
• Support security hardening, patching, vulnerability remediation and infrastructure security activities
• Execute technical changes following established procedures, change-management processes and documentation standards

Network & Security Technologies

• Basic understanding of networking and network security concepts, including DHCP, TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP/HTTPS and common network security protocols
• Basic knowledge or exposure to security technologies such as NDR, Email Security, EDR/XDR, firewalls, WAFs and Load Balancers
• Support the implementation, configuration and technical validation of security solutions, working alongside senior engineers
• Support basic troubleshooting and analysis of connectivity, security and application-related issues across different infrastructure layers

TLS, Cryptography & PKI

• Support TLS/SSL certificate lifecycle activities, including deployment, renewal, validation and troubleshooting
• Develop practical knowledge of PKI, Certificate Authorities, certificate chains and trust relationships
• Understand fundamental cryptographic concepts, including public/private keys, CSR and digital certificates
• Troubleshoot TLS/certificate-related connectivity and application issues

Technical Projects & Customer Engagement

• Participate in technical projects involving infrastructure and cybersecurity technologies, working alongside senior engineers and project teams
• Support technical meetings, requirements gathering and coordination with customers and internal stakeholders
• Track technical activities, issues, dependencies and deliverables, providing clear status updates and documentation
• Communicate technical issues and solutions clearly, progressively taking ownership of technical work packages and customer-facing activities

Technical Skills:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Engineering or a similar field (preferred)
• 1–3 years of experience in the field
• Practical knowledge of Windows Server environments
• Practical knowledge of Linux systems
• Good understanding of fundamental networking concepts
• Basic understanding of cybersecurity principles
• Ability to perform structured technical troubleshooting and problem analysis
• Basic scripting or automation knowledge using PowerShell, Bash and/or Python is desirable.

Languages:

• Fluency in Portuguese
• English proficiency at B2 level or above.
