KCS IT is seeking a Junior Network Security Engineer to join our Lisbon-based hybrid team. Ideal candidates bring around three years of hands-on experience in network security and engineering, with strong firewall skills and VPN knowledge.

• 3 years of professional experience in Network Security / Network Engineering.
• Hands-on experience with firewalls and firewall administration.
• Experience with firewall configuration and rule management (NAT and ACLs).
• VPN technologies experience.
• Ability to analyse network traffic and troubleshoot complex connectivity issues.
• Knowledge of security best practices and network security principles.
• Experience working with enterprise IT environments.
• Good documentation and problem-solving skills.
• Portuguese – mandatory; English – mandatory (B2).

We are looking for an Amazing: Junior Network Security Engineer

Seniority: Junior-level (3 years)

Type of position: Hybrid model in Lisbon. Candidates need to be already living in Portugal!

The amazing you, will have:

• Around 3 years of professional experience in Network Security / Network Engineering.
• Strong hands-on experience with firewalls and firewall administration.
• Experience with Firewall configuration and rule management NAT and ACLs VPN technologies Network troubleshooting TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP and routing Network security concepts Security hardening.
• Experience with proxy and/or load-balancing technologies is highly valued.
• Ability to analyse network traffic and troubleshoot complex connectivity issues.
• Knowledge of security best practices and network security principles.
• Experience working with enterprise IT environments.
• Good documentation and problem-solving skills.
• Portuguese – mandatory
• English – mandatory, minimum B2 level.
