Job summary

iUTalent is recruiting a Junior Planner for an esteemed industrial engineering and construction company in the Parque das Nações area, Lisbon. You will support development, maintenance and analysis of project schedules using Primavera P6 or MS Project, ensuring data accuracy to enable informed decisions and timely execution.

The role requires a degree in Engineering or related field, internship or academic exposure, strong Excel skills, and English at C1/C2.

Qualifications

Higher education degree in Engineering, PM or related field.
Internship or academic exposure to industrial project controls is valued.
Familiarity with Primavera P6 and MS Project.
Strong Excel skills.
English at C1/C2 level.

Responsibilities

Assist in developing and maintaining Level 3 and Level 4 project schedules using Primavera P6 or Microsoft Project, ensuring activity logic, durations and project inputs are reflected.
Collect, validate and update schedule and progress information from engineering, procurement, construction and commissioning teams.
Monitor actual versus planned progress, identify deviations and support critical-path analyses.
Prepare weekly and monthly planning reports, including SPI, S-curves, histograms and dashboards.
Support development of standardized WBS and KPI databases and historical project-control data.
Assist with schedule risk, change-impact and extension-of-time analyses for risk registers and mitigation plans.
Provide planning support to Project Managers and project teams during proposal and execution stages.
