Job summary

Glovo in Lisbon seeks a data-driven Operations Analyst to support the Portugal Operations Strategy and Compliance team. You will analyze data to identify fraud patterns, improve partner operations, and drive initiatives that add value to the country strategy.

You will build dashboards, run analyses, and collaborate with regional teams to strengthen KPIs, with 1–2 years of relevant experience and fluency in Portuguese and English.

YOUR MISSION

You will be responsible for supporting the Portugal Operations Strategy and Compliance team with insightful operational analysis. Your mission will be to deep dive into data to identify patterns of fraud, devise action plans to improve operations of our partners and create initiatives that add value to the overall country strategy.

THE JOURNEY

• Provide analytical support to the operations team in Lisbon
• Evaluate strategic opportunities, performing a broad range of quantitative and qualitative analyses to improve the partner operations (improve preparation times, reduce cancellations and increase available time) to make sure we always deliver the best service to our customers
• Be responsible for operational excellence, compliance with processes, experience on platform and many more from data perspective: providing deep analytics, creating dashboards, bots, simulations, data models.
• Propose (be an enthusiast), track and consolidate new ideas to improve the operations by being obsessed with Glovo's KPIs
• Understand, deep-dive into the data, to understand the reasons and the levers we can act upon to improve KPIs
• Own all dashboards and build new tools to improve the visibility of metrics in the department
• Bring ideas that add to the country’s core strategy and act on them
• Actively collaborate with your colleagues and learn from each other in a supportive environment that allows you to grow, develop and make a difference
• Work with global and regional teams to coordinate and execute projects to reach your goals

Qualifications

What you will bring to the ride

Must have

• 1 or 2 years of professional experience in highly demanding positions (operations, consulting, tech, etc.)
• Excellent critical thinking by using a data-driven approach (Excel/Gsheet proficiency also experience in SQL preferred)
• Portuguese and English
• Problem Solving

• Interest in using AI tools and coding platforms
• Ability to effectively communicate to stakeholders
