Natixis in Portugal seeks a Senior Network Engineer to join the Security & Firewall team. You will be responsible for BUILD and RUN activities, including firewall policy management, network security operations, and ongoing security infrastructure improvements.

The role covers design, implementation, troubleshooting, and ensuring compliance with internal security policies. A strong background in enterprise firewall management and a proactive, autonomous mindset are essential.

Qualificações

• 5+ years of experience in network security engineering.
• Proven firewall administration in large-scale enterprise environments.
• Strong knowledge of network protocols (TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, VLANs, VPNs).
• Experience with NSX / SDN environments is a strong plus.
• Familiarity with ISO 27001, NIST, etc. and security audits.

Responsabilidades

• Implement flow matrices aligned with project requirements and security standards.
• Design and deploy firewall filtering rules in line with internal security policies.
• Contribute to the architecture and evolution of the security infrastructure.
• RUN - Daily Operations; analyze and process policy modification requests.
• Perform troubleshooting to identify root causes of network dysfunctions and propose fixes.
