Wire IT is seeking a Junior Network Security Engineer based in Lisbon, Portugal, with a hybrid work setup. The role focuses on implementing firewall rules, managing network security, and supporting IT production processes in a fast-moving environment.

The candidate should have up to 3 years of related experience, familiarity with NSX-T/VCF9, Palo Alto and Fortinet, and fluency in English plus Portuguese or French.

Role: Junior Network Security Engineer

Location: Hybrid, Lisbon, Portugal

Required skills:

• Up to 3 years of experience in a similar role.


• Knowledge of network micro-segmentation and traditional firewall rule implementation, particularly NSX-T / VCF9, Palo Alto and Fortinet.


• Understanding of firewall security rule configuration.


• Familiarity with IT production environments, including requests, incidents, changes and documentation.


• Fluency in English plus either Portuguese or French.
