Arcesium is seeking a junior IT professional in Lisbon to provide day-to-day IT support for the local office and participate in real engineering work. You’ll onboard new hires, set up hardware, and keep workstations running while also contributing to automation scripting, CI/CD pipelines, and AWS infrastructure alongside a distributed engineering team.

You’ll learn fast, work with senior engineers, and grow from completing well-defined tasks to owning pieces of infrastructure.

Qualificações

• Experience: 0-2 years in IT support, systems administration, or junior engineering role (internships count).
• Linux fundamentals: comfortable in a Linux/Unix environment and basic networking.
• Scripting: knowledge of at least one scripting language (Python, Bash).
• IT support mindset: hands-on with hardware; local IT focal point.
• Cloud familiarity: basic AWS experience or curiosity; learning infrastructure and automation.
• Ownership: able to work independently as on-site tech resource in a distributed team.
• Language: fluent English (written and spoken); Portuguese is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Be the local IT point of contact for the Lisbon office: onboarding, hardware provisioning, account setup, workstation config.
• Learn and apply SRE practices—scripting, CI/CD, and cloud infra—under guidance of senior engineers.
• Split time between on-site specialist work and engineering tasks; grow into more engineering over time.
• Build foundation in Linux systems admin, version control, and cloud basics through real tickets and projects.
• Document issues and fixes clearly; communicate status and blockers to the wider team.
