Arcesium is expanding its Lisbon office and seeking a junior IT/infra engineer who will be the local IT go-to person. You will onboard new hires, provision hardware, and keep workstations and AV gear running while also contributing to automation, CI/CD pipelines, and AWS infrastructure tasks alongside a distributed engineering team.

You will learn fast, work with senior engineers, and gradually own small pieces of infrastructure.

Qualificações

• 0-2 years in an IT support, systems administration, or junior engineering role.
• Linux fundamentals in a Linux/Unix environment.
• Scripting knowledge in Python or Bash.
• Hands-on with hardware and on-site IT support.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS preferred).
• Ability to work independently in a distributed, remote-first team.
• Fluent English, Portuguese is a plus.
• Bachelor's degree in CS/Engineering/IT or related field.

Responsabilidades

• Be the local IT point of contact for the Lisbon office, onboarding, hardware provisioning, and everyday support.
• Set up hardware and onboarding for new hires; ensure workstation readiness.
• Maintain and support workstations, conference rooms, and A/V gear.
• Develop automation: write and maintain simple scripts and Ansible playbooks under guidance.
• Assist CI/CD and AWS infrastructure tasks with senior engineers.
• Document issues and fixes with clear communication to the team.
