Job summary

Syone is hiring a Junior Infrastructure professional in Lisbon/Porto with a hybrid work model. You’ll assist with migration projects, support VMware and KVM environments, and troubleshoot Linux/Windows Server issues.

You’ll also help with basic networking, scripting for automation, and follow documented procedures while learning from senior engineers. Rotating shifts including evenings and weekends are part of the role.

Qualifications

• Initial experience or academic background in IT Infrastructure, Systems Administration or Virtualisation.
• Basic knowledge of Linux and/or Windows Server.
• Basic understanding of VMware, KVM and networking.
• Good analytical and troubleshooting skills; willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

• Support infrastructure and virtualization migration projects.
• Assist with VMware and KVM environments.
• Troubleshoot Linux and Windows Server issues.
• Assist with basic networking and storage tasks.
• Support automation and repetitive tasks with scripting.
• Follow procedures and document work; collaborate with senior engineers.
• Participate in rotating shifts including evenings, nights and weekends.
