Job summary

ITDS in Lisbon is seeking a Senior Network Infrastructure Engineer to lead cutting-edge network transformation projects. This hybrid role allows up to 2 remote days per week.

You will monitor wired and wireless networks, manage NAC with 802.1X, RADIUS, and ISE, and spearhead upgrades of Cisco Nexus/NX-OS switches and Wi‑Fi platforms. You will act as the senior technical lead, ensuring changes are planned and securely executed for stability and security.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of network engineering experience.
• Hands-on with Cisco Nexus/NX-OS and IOS/IOS-XE administration.
• Experience upgrading Cisco switches and Wi-Fi environments.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and maintain the network estate; respond to alerts across wired, wireless, access, and core networks.
• Support NAC and authentication-related issues for secure connectivity.
• Lead change windows and implement fixes to optimize performance.
• Maintain documentation, runbooks, and improve monitoring/observability tools.
• Lead infrastructure transformation including Nexus/NX-OS upgrades and Cisco Wi-Fi improvements.
• Deploy NAC solutions (802.1X, RADIUS, ISE) for secure access.
• Deploy Cisco Catalyst Center for network management and automation.
• Act as senior technical lead to plan and safely execute changes.
