Gi Group, on behalf of a leading mobility and technology company, seeks an H&S Coordinator based in the Lisbon area to support activities across the WSE. You will coordinate safety training, maintain compliance trackers, and assist audits, liaising with vendors and internal teams to ensure safety standards are met.

Ideal candidates have 1–3 years in H&S operations, TSST/TST certification, and fluent English.

Qualificações

• 1-3 years in Health & Safety operations, compliance coordination or a similar operational role.
• Valid TSST (Level VI) or TST (Level IV) certification recognized by ACT.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Fluent English (written and spoken).
• Proficiency in Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Calendar).

Responsabilidades

• Coordinate mandatory Health & Safety training across WSE (scheduling, registrations, attendance tracking, reminders, certificates).
• Keep training matrices and compliance trackers up to date.
• Support local H&S legal compliance (monitor regulatory updates, collect documentation, follow up on actions).
• Support incident management (log incidents, maintain records, track corrective actions and deadlines).
• Prepare simple reports/dashboards on training completion, compliance status and incident follow-up).
• Liaise with vendors, occupational health providers, landlords and internal teams to support local compliance.

Our client is a renowned company in the mobility and technology industry, currently recruiting an H&S Coordinator based in the Lisbon area (supporting activities across WSE).

Main responsibilities:

• Coordinate mandatory Health & Safety training across WSE (scheduling, registrations, attendance tracking, reminders, certificates)
• Keep training matrices and compliance trackers up to date
• Support local H&S legal compliance (monitor regulatory updates, collect documentation, follow up on actions)
• Support incident management (log incidents, maintain records, track corrective actions and deadlines)
• Prepare simple reports/dashboards on training completion, compliance status and incident follow-up
• Liaise with vendors, occupational health providers, landlords and internal teams to support local compliance
• Support audits and inspections (gather evidence, maintain documentation, close open actions)
• Maintain emergency preparedness records, including emergency responder training and refreshers
• Identify process improvement opportunities and standard ways of working across countries
• Support the creation of H&S risk assessments in line with local requirements

Requirements:

• 1-3 years of experience in Health & Safety operations, compliance coordination or a similar operational role
• Valid TSST (Level VI) or TST (Level IV) certification recognized by ACT
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
• Fluent English (written and spoken)
• Proficiency in Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Calendar)

Nice to have:

• Experience coordinating training programs
• Knowledge of Portuguese and/or broader European H&S compliance requirements
• Experience maintaining compliance records, trackers and audit evidence
• Experience using Asana and AI tools
• Experience working with vendors and external service providers
• Comfortable working across multiple countries and stakeholders
• Additional European languages are a plus
