NFON AG in Lisbon is seeking a Junior Full-Stack Software Engineer who will use AI as the main development tool to build features across mobile apps, backend APIs, and SDKs. You will work with senior engineers in a hybrid setting, increasing your hands-on experience with iOS/Swift, backend services, and the NIA SDK.

You will learn through collaboration, pair programming, and AI-assisted workflows, gaining a broad understanding of modern AI-driven software engineering and high-quality production

Your new role

From day one, as a Junior Full-Stack Software Engineer (all genders) you'll use AI as your primary development tool to build, debug, and ship real features that impact users. Working alongside experienced engineers, you'll gain hands‑on experience with technologies such as iOS/Swift, backend APIs, and the NIA SDK while developing a broad understanding of modern AI-driven software engineering. Through collaboration, pair programming, and AI-assisted workflows, you'll learn how to design, build, and maintain high-quality software -- not by memorising syntax, but by thinking clearly, asking the right questions, and critically evaluating the output.

We value intelligence, curiosity, and critical thinking more than a specific educational background or previous professional experience. We're hiring for potential, not perfection. The work you‘ll do

• Curiosity and enthusiasm for learning new technologies and approaches
• Ability to communicate clearly and work collaboratively within a team
• Interest in understanding software systems across frontend, backend, and integrations
