AdvanceWorks in Lisbon seeks a Frontend Developer to build modern, accessible frontend experiences aligned with our design system. You’ll collaborate with product and design teams and explore AI-powered tools for prototyping and frontend development.

You’ll contribute to usability improvements, ensure consistency across applications, and apply UX/UI principles with a strong eye for detail and accessibility. Hybrid work in Lisbon is available.

Qualificações

• 3+ years of frontend experience.

What will be your role

We are looking for a Frontend Developer to join our team in Lisbon and contribute to the development and continuous improvement of digital applications for a leading organization in the telecommunications and technology sector.

In this role, you’ll be responsible for building modern and consistent frontend experiences, ensuring that interfaces follow established design system guidelines while also contributing to usability and user experience improvements. You’ll work closely with product and design teams and have the opportunity to explore AI-powered tools for prototyping, mockups, and frontend development.

You’ll be part of a collaborative environment where technical execution, design consistency, accessibility, and user-centric thinking come together to create high-quality digital experiences.

Your responsibilities will include

• Developing frontend interfaces following a well-established design system, ensuring consistency across colors, typography, spacing, and components


• Ensuring visual and functional consistency across different applications and development squads


• Translating designs and user flows into responsive, accessible, and maintainable frontend solutions


• Identifying opportunities to improve usability and proposing user-centered solutions


• Collaborating closely with product and design teams to validate user flows, interfaces, and interaction patterns


• Contributing to the evolution and adoption of frontend component libraries and design system practices


• Exploring and applying generative AI tools to accelerate prototyping, mockup creation, and frontend development


• Staying up to date with emerging technologies and AI-assisted development practices applicable to frontend and UX


• Ensuring code quality, maintainability, and adherence to frontend development best practices

What should you bring to the team

• 3+ years of professional experience in frontend development


• Hands-on experience with modern frontend frameworks such as React, Vue, or equivalent


• Practical experience implementing and working with design systems


• Knowledge of component libraries and design system tools such as Storybook and design tokens


• Good understanding of UX/UI principles, with a strong focus on usability


• Familiarity with accessibility principles and user-centered design practices


• Ability to translate designs and user requirements into high-quality frontend implementations


• Familiarity with generative AI tools applied to design, prototyping, or frontend development


• Strong attention to visual detail and consistency


• A hands-on mindset, combining solid technical execution with product and usability thinking


• Strong communication and collaboration skills


• Availability to work in a hybrid model in Lisbon


• Fluent Portuguese and English, both written and spoken

Nice to have

• Experience working with large-scale design systems across multiple applications or teams


• Experience with Figma and design tokens


• Experience building or maintaining reusable component libraries


• Experience with design-to-code tools and AI-assisted frontend development


• Familiarity with AI tools for UI generation, prototyping, and mockup creation


• Knowledge of frontend testing practices and tools


• Understanding of accessibility standards such as WCAG


• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments


• Previous experience working closely with UX/UI designers and product teams
