NFON AG in Lisbon is seeking a Junior Full-Stack Software Engineer who will use AI as the main development tool to build features across mobile apps, backend APIs, and SDKs. You will work with senior engineers in a hybrid setting, increasing your hands-on experience with iOS/Swift, backend services, and the NIA SDK.

You will learn through collaboration, pair programming, and AI-assisted workflows, gaining a broad understanding of modern AI-driven software engineering and high-quality production

Qualificações

• Strong logical thinking and problem-solving ability—break complex problems into clear steps.
• Basic understanding of programming fundamentals (data structures, functions, control flow).
• Experience using AI tools (ChatGPT, Copilot, or similar) to build, learn, or solve problems.
• Critical thinking—verify, question, and improve AI outputs rather than blind trust.
• Curiosity and enthusiasm for learning new technologies and approaches.
• Clear communication and collaborative teamwork across frontend, backend, and integrations.

Responsabilidades

• Build features across mobile applications, backend services, and SDK components using AI as the primary tool.
• Prompt, validate, and iterate: use AI to generate solutions, then review and improve them.
• Write, test, and ship high-quality production code.
• Collaborate with experienced engineers to design and deliver effective solutions.
• Investigate technical issues using AI tools and logical reasoning.
• Continuously push the boundaries of AI-assisted development.
