PwC Portugal, through PwC Services Portugal (PSP) in Matosinhos, is hiring a Junior Backend .NET Engineer to help develop backend services using C# and .NET 8, assist with Web APIs, and contribute to middleware tasks.

You will learn TDD practices, support cloud migration activities, and collaborate with cross-functional teams while applying engineering best practices. English and Portuguese fluency is required.

Qualificações

• BSc or MSc in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field.
• 1–3 years of professional Backend .NET development with C#, .NET, LINQ and EF.
• Experience with testing frameworks (XUnit, Moq, AutoFixture).
• Initial experience with Cloud environments (Azure is an advantage) and CI/CD tools like Git or Azure DevOps.
• Exposure to building Web APIs and familiarity with Middleware and WebSockets.
• Familiar with Microsoft SQL Server.
• Basic knowledge of frontend development using React is a plus.
• Familiarity with AI coding assistants is an advantage.

Responsibilities

Your profile

• BSc or MSc in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field
• Between 1 and 3 years of professional experience in in Backend .NET development, working with C#, .NET, LINQ and Entity Framework
• Experience with testing frameworks (e.g. XUnit, Moq, AutoFixture)
• Initial experience with Cloud environments (Azure is an advantage) and CI/CD tools like Git or Azure DevOps
• Exposure to building Web APIs, as well as some familiarity with Middleware and WebSockets
• Familiar with Microsoft SQL Server
• Basic knowledge of Frontend development using React is considered a plus
• Familiarity with AI coding assistants is an advantage
• Fluent in both written and spoken English and Portuguese.
