Sonae Sierra, an international retail real estate company, is seeking a new member for the SSC - Accounting team in Lisbon. You will handle IFRS and Local GAAP reporting, monthly closings, and the preparation of consolidation packages.

The role requires a degree in Accounting or Management, about 3 years of related experience, and fluency in English and Portuguese, with strong Excel skills; SAP knowledge is a plus.

Qualificações

• Degree in Accounting or Management.
• Experience in Accounting or Auditing areas (~3 years).
• Fluent in English and Portuguese; proficient in MS Office and Excel.

Responsabilidades

• Ensure the accounting and statutory reporting under IFRS and Local GAAP (SNC).
• Ensure monthly closing of the accounts for group companies or third parties.
• Post invoices; manage accruals/deferrals; oversee closing operations and trial balance analysis.
• Account for IFRS and Local GAAP reflections.
• Prepare Consolidation Package and annual statutory accounts including IES.

Requirements

• Degree in Accounting or Management;
• About 3 years of relevant experience in Accounting or Auditing areas;
• Fluent in Englishand Portuguese;
• Proficient in MS Office Suite, particularly Excel (mandatory) and SAP knowledge would be a plus;
• Analytical thinking and high level of accuracy;
• Proactive and reliable person.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the accounting and statutory reporting of companies under IFRS and Local GAAP (SNC);
• Ensure the monthly closing of the accounts of Sonae Sierra group companies or Third Parties, owners of or service providers to shopping centres in Portugal;
• Ensure the timelyexecution and control of the accounting operations of the companies for which you are responsible: posting invoices; posting and controllingaccruals and deferrals; posting and controllingthe various closing operations; trial balance analysis and control of the respective accounts;
• Accounting under IFRS and respective reflection in Local GAAP;
• Preparationof the "Package" for Consolidation; production of annual statutory accounts and preparation of the IES (Simplified Corporate Information).
