Sonae Sierra, located in Lisbon, is looking for a Technician, Accounting to join their SSC - Accounting team. This role involves ensuring compliance under IFRS and Local GAAP, performing monthly closings, and preparing statutory accounts.

The ideal candidate will have a degree in Accounting or Management, fluent English and Portuguese, and about 1-2 years of experience in Accounting or Auditing. Proficiency in Excel is mandatory, and SAP knowledge is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Ensure monthly closing of accounts for Sonae Sierra group companies.

We are currently looking for a new member for the SSC - Accounting team to join us in the position of Technician, Accounting.

Working Place: Sonae Sierra's Central Offices in Lisbon

Responsibilities

• Ensure the accounting and statutory reporting of companies under IFRS and Local GAAP (SNC);
• Ensure the monthly closing of the accounts of Sonae Sierra group companies or Third Parties, owners of or service providers to shopping centres in Portugal;
• Ensure the timely execution and control of the accounting operations of the companies for which you are responsible: posting invoices; posting and controlling accruals and deferrals; posting and controlling the various closing operations; trial balance analysis and control of the respective accounts;
• Accounting under IFRS and respective reflection in Local GAAP;
• Preparation of the “Package” for Consolidation; production of annual statutory accounts and preparation of the IES (Simplified Corporate Information).

Qualifications

• Degree in Accounting or Management;
• About 1-2 years of relevant experience in Accounting or Auditing areas;
• Fluent in English and Portuguese;
• Proficient in MS Office Suite, particularly Excel (mandatory) and SAP knowledge would be a plus;
• Analytical thinking and high level of accuracy;
