Sonae Sierra is hiring a Technician, Accounting to join the SSC – Accounting team in Lisbon, Portugal. You will handle IFRS and Local GAAP reporting, monthly closings, and preparation for consolidation and annual statutory accounts.

The ideal candidate has a degree in Accounting or Management, about 5+ years in Accounting or Auditing, fluent English and Portuguese, and strong Excel skills. SAP knowledge is a plus.

Qualificações

• Degree in Accounting or Management required.
• About 5 or more years of relevant experience in Accounting or Auditing.
• Fluent in English and Portuguese.
• Proficient in MS Office Suite, particularly Excel (mandatory) and SAP knowledge would be a plus.
• Analytical thinking and high level of accuracy.

Responsabilidades

• Ensure the accounting and statutory reporting of companies under IFRS and Local GAAP (SNC).
• Ensure the monthly closing of the accounts of Sonae Sierra group companies or Third Parties, owners of or service providers to shopping centres in Portugal.
• Ensure the timely execution and control of the accounting operations of the companies for which you are responsible: posting invoices; posting and controlling accruals and deferrals; posting and controlling the various closing operations; trial balance analysis and control of the respective accounts.
• Accounting under IFRS and respective reflection in Local GAAP.
• Preparation of the “Package” for Consolidation; production of annual statutory accounts and preparation of the IES (Simplified Corporate Information).
