Our accounting firm in Faro is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Junior Accountant to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is looking to start their career in accounting or has recently graduated with a degree in Accounting or Finance.

Responsibilities

• Assist senior accountants with day-to-day tasks such as bookkeeping, accounts payable and receivable, and bank reconciliations
• Prepare financial statements and reports for clients
• Ensure timely and accurate filing of tax returns and other compliance documents
• Collaborate with team members to improve processes and efficiency
• Maintain accurate records of financial transactions
• Stay up-to-date with accounting regulations and best practices

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
