InnoTech in Lisbon seeks a Java & Vue Developer to join our enterprise applications team. You will develop, maintain, and enhance applications built on legacy Java EE technologies and modern Vue.js front-ends, delivering robust RESTful services.

You'll optimize the persistence layer with JPA/Hibernate, design entities, and ensure scalable, secure data access. CPLP nationality or EU work permit is required to facilitate employment.

• Front-end experience with Vue.js.
• Strong SQL and secure DB access practices.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and enhance enterprise-grade applications built on legacy and Java EE technologies;
• Design and implement robust RESTful services while ensuring application scalability, reliability, and maintainability;
• Build and optimize the persistence layer using JPA/Hibernate, following best practices for entity modelling and transaction management.

Qualifications

• Proven experience with Java 7 (or strong hands‑on experience working with legacy Java versions) and Java EE technologies, including JAX‑RS, EJB 3, CDI, JMS, Hibernate/JPA, and EntityManager;
• Experience in front-end development with Vue.js;
• Solid knowledge of SQL, JDBC, and secure database access practices, with a preference for JPA/Hibernate-based persistence;
• Experience designing JPA entities, managing transactions, and developing enterprise applications;
• CPLP nationality or an EU work permit is required to facilitate employment.

Preferred

• BSc or MSc in Computer Science/Engineering, Information Technology, or related fields.
