Job summary

IT House in Porto is seeking a Java Full-Stack Engineer for a direct placement with a logistics and transportation end client. You will develop and enhance the in-house system using domain-driven design and agile methods.

The ideal candidate has 3 years of Java and Angular experience, Spring Boot expertise, and fluent English. Hybrid work in Porto and 24 vacation days are offered, with benefits aligned to experience.

Qualifications

• 3 years of experience and strong proficiency in Java and Angular.
• Strong expertise in the Spring Boot framework.
• Experience in full-stack development, web/backend services, and various domains.
• Fluent in spoken and written English.
• Degree in Information Technology or comparable education and relevant professional IT experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop and enhance the in-house system.

• Create technical documentation and test scenarios.

• Independently execute requirements through to implementation, collaborating with requirements engineers and business departments.

Key Responsibilities

• Development and enhancement of in-house system;
• Use of development methodologies such as domain-driven design and agile development following Scrum and Kanban;
• Creation of technical documentation and test scenarios;
• Design and development of database concepts, batch programs and front-end applications based on business requirements;
• Independent execution of requirements through to implementation readiness, as well as close collaboration with our requirements engineers and the business departments.

Profile

• Degree in Information Technology or comparable education and relevant professional experience in IT;
• 3 years of experience and strong proficiency in Java and Angular;
• Strong expertise in the Spring Boot framework;
• Experience in full-stack development, web/backend services, and various domains;
• Fluent in spoken and written English.
