Job summary

IT House is looking for a Java Back-End Engineer for a direct placement with an end client in the Logistics and Transportation sector, located in Porto.

The role involves developing the Transport management system, using modern methods and container technology, and building new or modernized components for our Road solutions. English proficiency and agile collaboration are required.

Hybrid work model in Porto, with 24 vacation days per year and additional benefits.

Qualifications

• Degree in computer science or a comparable qualification or several years of developer experience.
• Extensive experience in Java-based backend development.
• Strong knowledge of Spring Framework, especially Spring Boot.
• Experience with RESTful web services and APIs.
• Solid SQL, Hibernate, and JPA knowledge.
• Knowledge of microservices and messaging systems (Kafka, RabbitMQ) is a plus.
• Strong problem-solving skills and an organized approach.
• Good English and able to collaborate in an agile environment.
