act digital is seeking an experienced Senior Java & Angular Full Stack Developer to join an Agile, multidisciplinary team responsible for developing, maintaining, and continuously evolving business-critical web applications.

You will work across the full application lifecycle, combining modern Java/Spring Boot backend development with Angular frontend engineering, while contributing to APIs, microservices, event-driven integrations, DevOps practices, testing, and production delivery.

We are looking for an experienced Senior Java & Angular Full Stack Developer to join an Agile, multidisciplinary team responsible for developing, maintaining, and continuously evolving business-critical web applications.

You will work across the full application lifecycle, combining modern Java/Spring Boot backend development with Angular frontend engineering, while contributing to APIs, microservices, event-driven integrations, DevOps practices, testing, and production delivery.

The role offers the opportunity to work across different squads and business areas, collaborating in an international environment where French is essential.

As a Senior Full Stack Developer, you will:

• Design and develop scalable full-stack applications.
• Build modern backend services with Java and Spring Boot.
• Create responsive frontend solutions using Angular.
• Develop and integrate REST and SOAP services.
• Maintain and continuously improve existing applications.
• Support bug fixing, change requests, and production-related activities.
• Contribute to application deployments across production and non-production environments.
• Use AI-assisted development practices to improve engineering productivity.
• Gradually develop strong functional and technical ownership of the applications under your responsibility.

Full Stack Development

• Participate in requirements analysis and specification based on user needs.
• Design, develop, test, and maintain business applications.
• Build high-quality solutions across both frontend and backend layers.
• Implement new features while continuously improving existing applications.
• Troubleshoot defects and provide effective technical solutions.
• Develop backend applications using Java 11 to 21.
• Work with the Spring ecosystem, including:

Angular Frontend Development

• Develop modern web applications using Angular 17 to 21.

• Integrate frontend applications with backend services and APIs.

APIs & Integrations

• Design, develop, and maintain REST and SOAP web services.
• Support integrations between applications and external systems.

• Troubleshoot integration and data-flow issues.
• Ensure integrations are reliable and aligned with functional requirements.

Data & Persistence

• Develop solutions using both relational and NoSQL databases.
• Work with:

DevOps & Cloud-Native Delivery

• Develop and support applications running on Kubernetes.
• Work with DevOps toolchains supporting continuous integration and delivery.
• Contribute to application deployment across production and non-production environments.
• Manage secrets securely using HashiCorp Vault.
• Support build and artifact management using:

• Collaborate with DevOps and infrastructure teams to improve deployment reliability.

AI-Assisted Development

• Use AI coding tools to support software development activities.
• Apply AI-assisted development responsibly to coding, troubleshooting, documentation, and productivity.
• Evaluate generated code critically and ensure compliance with development and security standards.
• Explore opportunities to improve delivery efficiency through AI-enabled development practices.

Application Maintenance & Production Support

• Investigate and resolve bugs and application incidents.
• Handle change requests and application maintenance activities.
• Support deployments and production releases.
• Contribute to application stability and continuous improvement.
• Build technical and functional knowledge of assigned business applications.

Documentation & Knowledge Sharing

• Produce and maintain technical documentation according to organizational standards.
• Document application changes, integrations, and operational procedures.
• Share technical and functional knowledge across the team.
• Contribute to maintainability and long-term knowledge retention.
• Work within multidisciplinary Agile squads.
• Participate actively in Scrum ceremonies.
