Java Developer

Are you passionate about Java development, scalable backend solutions, and Agile delivery? Then this position is for you.

This role contributes to the design, development, and evolution of the Orion platform, a strategic Control Framework and Supervision solution supporting non-financial risk across CIB.

Responsibilities

Build Side

• Design, develop, and maintain Java‑based backend services and components.
• Deliver core platform capabilities, transversal features, and entity‑specific functionalities.
• Translate business requirements into robust and scalable technical solutions in collaboration with Business Analysts and Product Owners.
• Develop and optimize RESTful APIs and backend services.
• Contribute to application architecture and technical design discussions.
• Ensure code quality through unit testing, code reviews, and adherence to development standards.
• Identify and implement technical improvements to enhance performance, security, and maintainability.

Run Side

• Support deployment activities and ensure smooth releases.
• Contribute to production stability and troubleshooting when required.
• Participate actively in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to resolve incidents and technical issues.
• Monitor and improve application reliability, scalability, and performance.
• Maintain technical documentation and development best practices.

Qualifications

You have solid experience in Java backend development within Agile environments and enjoy building scalable, reliable, and maintainable enterprise applications.

You are comfortable working closely with technical and business stakeholders and have a strong focus on quality, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
