Rumos Porto is seeking a Java Developer to maintain, support and develop new features within an Agile team, contributing across the full lifecycle.

Candidates should have an IT degree, 3+ years of Java 8+ experience, JUnit/Maven/Git, Linux, and Hadoop; knowledge of relational databases, Spring Boot, React, and CI/CD is a plus. English proficiency, strong communication, and teamwork are essential.

• Knowledge of Jenkins and CI/CD tools is a plus
• Familiarity with Perl is a plus
• Fluency in Portuguese and advanced English
• Excellent communication, written and verbal
• Strong organizational, analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently with a collaborative mindset

Profile:

• Degree in Information Technology or Computer Engineering;
• Minimum of 3 years of professional experience with Java 8 or above;
• Experience with JUnit, Maven and Git;
• Proficiency in Linux environments;
• Experience with the Hadoop ecosystem (Java, Spark and Hive);
• Solid knowledge of relational databases;
• Knowledge of Agile methodologies and DevOps practices;
• Experience with frameworks such as Spring Boot and React will be considered an advantage;
• Knowledge of Jenkins and other CI/CD tools will be considered an advantage;
• Familiarity with Perl will be considered an advantage;
• Fluency in Portuguese and advanced English proficiency;
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal;
