Dellent is seeking a Java Developer for a Lisbon project. You will work on enterprise-scale solutions, developing microservices with Java 21 and the Spring framework. The role emphasizes API-first design, event-driven patterns, and omni-channel order workflows.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of hands-on experience, strong database knowledge (MySQL and MongoDB), and solid cloud-native tooling with Docker and Kubernetes. English fluency is required; French or other languages are a plus.

In this project you will be able to contact with one of the key players in banking in the EU and around the world. Thus, you will be part of a multicultural team that is spread across more than 50 countries and you will help develop solutions in one of these three areas: investments, business solutions or commercial/personal services.

We are looking for a Java Developer to work in this project in Lisbon.

What are we looking for?

• 5+ years of professional experience in a similar role;
• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related field;
• Strong expertise in Java 21 and the Spring ecosystem (Spring Boot, Spring Data JPA, Hibernate, Spring Cloud);
• Proven experience developing microservices-based solutions using event-driven architectures and APIfirst principles;
• Experience working with Order Management Systems (OMS), Fluent Commerce, supporting order orchestration and omni-retail processes;
• Strong experience designing and implementing RESTful APIs (OpenAPI/Swagger) and working with JSON, XML, HTTP, and GraphQL;
• Experience building omni-retail and e-commerce solutions, including order lifecycle, inventory visibility, fulfilment, returns, payment flows;
• Proficiency with databases such as MySQL, and MongoDB.
• Hands-on experience with containerized and cloud-native environments, including Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines (GitLab);
• Experience working with event messaging systems and integration patterns (e.g., AWS SQS, Solace,Pub/Sub architectures);
• Fluency in English (French or other languages is a plus).
