Job summary

Jobseurope.Io is seeking a Java Developer to design and build backend services for iGaming internal platforms, including studio tools and admin back offices. You will own service APIs, work on scalable microservices, and deploy on Kubernetes in a fast-moving environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.
• Proven backend development experience with Java and Spring Boot/Spring.
• Strong understanding of microservices, API design, and distributed systems fundamentals.
• Hands-on experience with Docker/Kubernetes.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP) and cloud-native patterns.
• Solid experience with SQL and/or NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, MongoDB) and performance considerations.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop backend services using Java and Spring Boot for internal platforms and admin tools.
• Build and evolve a scalable microservices architecture for back-office domains.
• Deploy and operate services on Kubernetes with focus on availability and efficiency.
• Use cloud platforms to build and run cloud-native services with managed components.
• Implement service-to-service communication and real-time updates when needed.
• Ensure data persistence with PostgreSQL and MongoDB, including migrations and indexing.
• Apply security best practices: authentication/authorization, secrets, audit trails.
• Write unit and integration tests, participate in code reviews, and improve reliability.
• Maintain observability: logging, metrics, tracing, alerting for production troubleshooting.
• Collaborate with product, QA, DevOps/SRE to deliver features end-to-end and document.
