Axians Portugal is looking for a Java/Angular Full Stack Developer to join an Agile multidisciplinary team. You will contribute to development, maintenance, and continuous improvement of business-critical applications across the lifecycle, using Java and Angular, and ensuring high quality, performance, and reliability.

The role requires fluency in French, good English, and willingness to travel within Portugal and abroad when needed.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree in a related field (Computer Science, Software Engineering, IT).
• Proven experience in full stack development using Java and Angular.
• Experience in web application development projects.
• Knowledge of modern software development best practices and Agile methodologies.
• Experience working with CI/CD and DevOps toolchains.
• Experience in the banking or insurance sector is a plus.
• Fluency in French (mandatory).
• Good command of English, both written and spoken.
• Availability to travel within Portugal when required.
• Availability to travel outside Portugal when required.

What We Are Looking For

We are looking for a Java/Angular Full Stack Developer to join an Agile multidisciplinary team and contribute to the development, maintenance, and continuous improvement of business-critical applications. You will be involved in all phases of the software development lifecycle, from requirements analysis and development to testing, deployment, and production support, while working with modern technologies and collaborating across different squads and business domains.

What You Will Do On a Daily Basis

• Participate in requirements analysis and functional specification activities based on business and user needs.
• Develop, test, and maintain scalable web applications using Java and Angular technologies.
• Contribute to the continuous evolution and improvement of existing applications.
• Produce technical documentation in accordance with project and client guidelines.
• Deploy applications in production and non-production environments.
• Troubleshoot incidents, resolve defects, and implement change requests.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary Agile teams across different projects and business lines.
• Ensure the quality, performance, and reliability of developed solutions.
• Progressively strengthen your functional and technical expertise in the assigned domains.
• Work on different squads according to project priorities and business needs.
• Contribute to Agile ceremonies and promote continuous improvement practices.

Your Key Skills

• Strong experience with Java (versions 11 to 21).
• Solid knowledge of Spring, Spring Boot 3, Spring Cloud, and Spring Batch.
• Experience developing frontend applications with Angular (versions 17 to 21).

Your Main Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Proven experience in Full Stack Development using Java and Angular technologies.
• Experience in web application development projects.
• Knowledge of modern software development best practices and Agile methodologies.
• Experience working with CI/CD and DevOps toolchains.
