Devoteam in Lisboa is seeking an enthusiastic IT Trainee to join our Information Technology team. This entry-level role offers hands-on experience in IT operations while supporting essential technical tasks and projects.

You will assist with basic IT infrastructure tasks, help troubleshoot issues, maintain documentation, onboard/offboard users, and learn IT best practices as part of a collaborative team in a fast-paced tech environment.

Qualificações

Job Description

We're looking for an enthusiastic and detail-oriented IT Trainee to join our Information Technology team in Lisboa, Portugal. In this entry-level position, you will gain hands-on experience in IT operations while supporting our IT department with essential technical tasks and projects. This is an excellent opportunity to develop your technical skill set, build a strong foundation in IT practices, and launch your career in the technology sector.

• Assist with basic IT infrastructure support and maintenance tasks under supervision
• Support the troubleshooting and resolution of common hardware and software issues
• Help maintain and organize IT documentation and asset inventory in compliance with company standards
• Assist with user onboarding and offboarding processes, including account setup and access management
• Support the installation, configuration, and testing of software applications and systems
• Help monitor system performance and identify potential technical issues or discrepancies
• Assist with IT security initiatives, including password management and access control procedures
• Perform accurate data entry and maintain detailed technical records
• Support the preparation of IT reports and documentation
• Collaborate with team members and other departments to resolve technical inquiries and requests
• Learn and apply fundamental IT principles, best practices, and company policies
• Participate in IT projects and contribute to process improvements and optimization initiatives

Qualifications

• 12th grade in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent professional experience)
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and general computer applications
• Basic knowledge of IT infrastructure, networks, or operating systems
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Ability to analyze technical data and identify issues or discrepancies
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Problem-solving mindset with a willingness to learn new technologies
• Basic troubleshooting and technical support skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
• Customer service orientation and empathy when assisting end-users
• Adaptability and flexibility in a fast-paced, evolving technology environment
• Familiarity with Windows, Linux, or macOS operating systems (preferred)
