Devoteam in Lisbon, Portugal, is seeking a detail-oriented PHP Application Support professional to ensure reliable performance of PHP-based applications across our telecom infrastructure. You will work closely with development teams and end-users to diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve application issues efficiently and systematically.

You will document architecture, data flows, dependencies, and operational procedures, and produce runbooks, support guides, and knowledge transfer materials.

Qualificações

• Degree in Computer Science or similar.
• Advanced PHP skills are required.
• Strong knowledge of JavaScript and client-side behavior.
• Experience with HTTP methods (GET, POST, PUT, DELETE) and web server interactions.
• Understanding of APIs – building, configuring, authenticating and consuming.
• Proficiency with Linux shell commands.
• Working knowledge of Apache HTTP Server.
• Experience with MySQL administration and queries.
• Ability to document IT architectures and platform interactions.
• Knowledge of migration patterns or transitioning legacy systems to centralized platforms (valued).
• Fluency in English (writing and speaking).

Responsabilidades

• Analyze existing tools, applications, and scripts to produce clear and structured technical documentation.
• Document architecture, integrations, data flows, dependencies, operational procedures, and configuration requirements.
• Produce runbooks, support guides, and knowledge transfer materials.
• Work closely with engineering teams in Greece and VNO to gather, validate, and refine technical information.
• Ensure documentation complies with internal standards and is ready for delivery to centralized platform teams.
• Provide daily support for current tools during the transition period.
• Perform troubleshooting, bug fixes, and minor enhancements as required.
• Maintain and adjust Apache configurations and web server behaviors.
• Support API configuration, endpoints, and HTTP method management.
• Execute shell commands for operational tasks, health checks, log analysis, and routine maintenance.
• Investigate and resolve issues across the entire stack: PHP, JavaScript, MySQL, Apache, and shell scripts.

We’re looking for a detail-oriented and analytical PHP Application Support professional to join our telecommunications organization in Lisboa, Portugal. In this role, you will provide comprehensive technical support for PHP-based applications, ensuring optimal performance and reliability across our telecom infrastructure. • Proficiency in Linux shell commands (diagnostics, basic scripting, permissions, log analysis).
• Working knowledge of Apache HTTP Server.
• Experience with MySQL (administration, queries, performance concepts, and data structures).
• Ability to understand and document IT architectures, system diagrams, and platform interactions.
• Knowledge of migration patterns or transitioning legacy systems to centralized platforms (valued).
• Fluency in English (written and spoken).
