Working with executive leaders and cross-functional teams, you will drive governance, risk management, and project quality standards, delivering meaningful business impact for Amadeus AirOps Operations and the travel industry.

Qualifications

Leading a team of project managers, you will oversee a portfolio of large-scale programs across Europe, ensuring delivery excellence in a complex environment involving multiple stakeholders, regulatory requirements, and customer commitments. Working closely with executive leaders and cross-functional teams, you will drive programs that shape the future of Amadeus AirOps Operations and the travel industry. This role combines strategic thinking, people leadership, stakeholder management, and operational excellence to deliver meaningful business impact.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a high-performing team of project managers.
• Own a portfolio of strategic projects and programs across Europe.

About the Ideal Candidate

• 15+ years of experience in project and program management.
• Proven experience leading teams in complex international environments.
• Strong people leadership, coaching, and talent development skills.
• Expertise in project governance, PMO standards, Agile methodologies, and risk management.
• Track record of delivering large-scale strategic programs successfully.
• Excellent stakeholder management and executive communication skills.
• Experience working within the airport, aviation, or travel industry.
• PMP or equivalent project management certification preferred.
• Comfortable navigating ambiguity and driving results in a fast-paced environment.
• Fluent in English.
