Job summary

Decskill in Portugal is seeking a Senior IT PMO to drive IT governance alignment, ensure compliance, and deliver high-quality documentation across national and international contexts. You will coordinate multiple teams and reporting cycles while improving internal controls.

The role requires at least 3 years of PMO experience, fluent English, and strong communication skills. French is a plus; you will work with MS Excel and PowerPoint in a fast-growing IT consulting environment.

• At least 3 years of professional IT PMO experience.
• Fluent in English (written and spoken).
• French is desirable but not mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Ensure alignment with corporate IT governance frameworks, standards and strategic objectives.
• Perform gap analyses between existing practices and governance requirements, defining remediation plans.
• Coordinate internal governance processes, assessments and audits with high-quality documentation.
• Strengthen internal control processes by identifying risks and monitoring compliance.
• Oversee organizational performance tracking across teams and validate data.
• Prepare high-level reports, presentations and actionable insights for management decisions.
• Manage and maintain organizational documentation, including roles and decision-making frameworks.
• Coordinate cross-functional initiatives and stakeholder alignment.
• Manage recurring reporting and governance activities to meet deadlines and standards.

• Ensure alignment with corporate IT governance frameworks, standards and strategic objectives.
• Perform gap analyses between existing practices and governance requirements, identifying improvement opportunities and defining remediation plans.
• Coordinate internal governance processes, assessments and audits, ensuring the timely delivery of accurate and high-quality documentation.
• Strengthen internal control processes by proactively identifying risks and monitoring compliance.
• Oversee organizational performance tracking, coordinating information gathering, validation and consolidation across different teams.
• Prepare high-level reports, presentations and actionable insights to support management decision-making.
• Manage and maintain organizational documentation, including roles, responsibilities and decision-making frameworks.
• Coordinate cross-functional initiatives, ensuring effective communication and alignment between stakeholders.
• Manage recurring reporting and governance activities, ensuring compliance with deadlines and corporate standards.

Requirements:

• At least 3 years of previous professional experience (desirable).
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
• French is desirable but not mandatory.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to interact effectively with different organizational levels.
• Excellent organizational and coordination skills.
• Proven ability to gather, consolidate and synthesize information from multiple teams.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, ensuring data accuracy and consistency.
• Ability to manage multiple recurring activities and reporting cycles (monthly, quarterly and annually).
• Self-driven, proactive and autonomous, with a strong sense of responsibility.
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office tools, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
• Ability to prepare clear, structured and high-quality reports and presentations.
