BYD Iberia seeks an IT Operation and Maintenance Engineer to ensure stability and continuous improvement of IT systems. You will bridge business needs with technical solutions and support innovation across the organization.

You will collaborate with EU IT and HQ IT teams, collect requirements, document processes, and oversee upgrading and optimization of IT systems, while ensuring compliance with legal IT requirements.

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s degree or higher
• Fluency in English and Portuguese (written and spoken)
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and organizational abilities
• Proactive and curious mindset
• Native or professional proficiency in Chinese is a plus

Responsabilidades

• Collect and analyze business and user requirements, identify bottlenecks and advise improvements for IT systems.
• Coordinate with internal/external stakeholders on system Q&A and provide training to key users.
• Collaborate with EU IT and HQ IT teams on planning, implementation, upgrading, optimization and transformation of IT Systems.
• Develop and maintain local technical documentation and procedures; perform evaluations and release tests.
• Understand legal IT requirements and communicate with the Legal Department.

Your mission

As an IT Operation and Maintenance Engineer, your mission is to ensure the stability, efficiency, and continuous improvement of BYD Iberia’s IT systems. You will play a key role in bridging business needs with technical solutions, enabling smooth operations and supporting innovation across the organization.

What you´ll be doing

• Collect and analyze business and users' requirements, identify bottlenecks and advise improvement for the system of business process;

• Communicate with local business internal / external stakeholders on system Q&A, providing training to key users;

• Cooperating with the EU IT and HQ IT team to carry out the planning, implementation, upgrading, optimization and transformation of the IT Systems

• Develop and maintain local technical documentation and procedures; perform the technical evaluations and periodic exercises and new release tests.

• Understanding of the legal requirements with IT system and communicate with the Legal Department.
